Series of Interesting Faces

Returning to the art of the portrait in my work, but with quick studies.

By limiting my palette, my time (less than an hour) and size, my aim is to practice the observation and expression of interesting faces (to me) through the simplest form. Derived from my concentration on drawing first, and appreciation for natural patterns and shapes second, I bring these portraits to life in small, intimate canvases.

Currently in progress, though some works have already sold.
